Pride isn't just for pride month!

We've rounded up some of our favourite businesses to support LGBTQ+ people - even when the parades and parties are over.

Gay Pride Shop

@gayprideshopuk

Based in Manchester, the Gay Pride Shop is your go to shop for all things Pride related - if you can think of it, they have it!

It was created due to frustration at companies selling pride related items for a month every year and not giving back to LGBTQ+ communities. This shop supports the community all year round which is why 15% of their profits go to 3 amazing charities: akt, The George House Trust, and Mermaids.

Gender Free World

@genderfreeworld

GFW Clothing was started by a small group of people in 2015 after conversations about how highly gendered the world of retail is. They decided to make the products they wanted to see and wear, that were not based on gender and were size inclusive. GFW clothing can be divided into 4 different fit types - ‘Alex’, ‘Billie’, ‘Charlie’ and ‘Drew’, and has an extensive sizing guide so you can find the right fit for you and your body regardless of your gender.

Proud Beer

@ProudBeerUK

Describing themselves as ‘a small queer team with a craft beer we love'. Proud Beer have a huge vision: to redefine the way their LGBTQI+ community is supported. They prioritise community and sustainability. All their packaging is recyclable - although you might not want to throw away these colourful little cans/bottles - did someone say candle holder?! Every time you buy one of their LGBTQIPA they donate 20p of the sale directly to their charity partners, Terrence Higgins Trust, LGBT Foundation, and, Diversity Role Models. Sounds like a great excuse to try a new IPA if you ask us!

The Queer Coffee Co

@thequeercoffeeco

 Once you’ve done trying those yummy LGBTQIPA’s from Proud Beer, you might wake up the next day and need a damn good cup of coffee to shake off the signs of a good night, and luckily we have just the place to go to get that cup o joe! - The Queer Coffee Co. QCC only has one goal: ‘brewing good vibes, in mugs and in our communities’. Every purchase of a QCC product supports the LGBTQ+ community with 20% of profits donated to charity!

Holler

@Holler

We're dog friendly at The Halley, and there's really no good reason your pup can’t celebrate pride and look stylish while they’re at it! In fact, they might just show you up at your pride celebrations after a visit to Holler. Holler, launched in 2019, is a Brighton-based contemporary boutique for the style-conscious canine, with unique dog accessories, quality clothing & luxurious homewares.

You can find more on https://lesbemums.com/lgbt/the-great-lgbtq-uk-business-directory/ where they have curated a list of LGBTQ+ UK businesses!
