Introducing our Halley Presents event series!

We're thrilled to announce the launch of our brand new event series, Halley Presents! This series of free events is designed to bring together our community of members and non-members alike to inspire, connect, and celebrate creativity in all its forms. All events are free, though for some you will need to have a Halley membership. From inspiring talks to lively networking events and fun socials, they'll be something for you to learn from, enjoy, and connect with like-minded creatives.

Plus, curated by our sister project Orbit, we'll be partnering with several grassroots communities driving underground music culture forward bring you some music focused workshops throughout the year.

This month our events are curated by GIRLSofGRIME.

6th & 20th April | Fika Coffee break

What is Fika? "To Swedes, Fika is something of a ritual. It does typically involve coffee and a sweet pastry, but just as important is the decision to take a deliberate break from your day with others. It’s a chance to relax and enjoy social connection with family, friends or colleagues.

Fika is our way of connecting across our different campuses. It's a chance to take a moment away from our laptops, have a great cup of coffee and build connections with our growing community

13th April |  Lunch 'N' Learn

Join us as we hear from some of our members about what they're current projects, big wins, and where they need collaboration - plus, get a free delicious lunch on us. This time we're having Caribbean High Tea and hearing from our studio member and all round artist Mandisa, and Grassroot Support Organisation of the month, GIRLSofGRIME.

14th April | Grassroots Partner: GIRLSofGRIME Music Production Workshop

Taking over The Halley studios for one day to host their Women in Production workshop, this day long sessions is lead by award-winning singer, songwriter & producer Eve Horne (Peak Music / We Are The Unheard). This workshop is designed for total beginners, with the goal of empowering more women to feel confident in studio environments and kickstart their own music creation.

20th April | Grassroots Partner: GIRLSofGRIME Live Event

Join GIRLSofGRIME for a night dedicated to empowering the next generation of women in the music industry. With a special guest appearance, live music performances, and networking opportunities, you'll have the chance to connect with like-minded individuals and gain valuable industry insights.

27th April | Members Social - April Drinks

Finally, the month is done! Let's kick back and relax with some delicious drinks and snacks from Cafe Route. The perfect antidote to the (almost) end of the working week and a perfect opportunity to catch up with new friends and old!
